Welcome to f22 Studios. By booking a session with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Location & Punctuality

• Studio Address: All sessions are held at our studio located at f22 Studios Ltd, Unit 20 Millennium Business Park, Enterprise Close, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG19 7JY.

• Arrival & Timing: Your session begins precisely at your scheduled booking time. If you or your group arrive late, we cannot extend your session time, as our schedule runs on strict blocks.

• Come Dressed & Ready: We advise all performers to arrive already dressed in their first dance outfit or uniform. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early so you have plenty of time to get settled, stretch, and warm up before stepping onto the backdrop.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• 24-Hour Notice: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. If you notify us 24 hours or more before your shoot, you will receive a full refund or the option to move your slot.

• Late Cancellations: Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are strictly non-refundable.

3. Chaperones & Studio Safety

• Under 18s: A parent, legal guardian, or designated chaperone must accompany any performer under the age of 18 and remain at the studio for the entire duration of the shoot.

• Over 18s (Adult Performers): While chaperones are mandatory for minors, we strongly promote and encourage our adult clients to bring a chaperone, friend, or family member along to their session too, ensuring you feel completely supported and comfortable during your shoot.

• Footwear Notice: To protect our specialized professional studio flooring, all dance shoes or props must be completely clean and free of outdoor grit or dirt before stepping onto the backdrops.

4. Physical Activity, Ability & Liability Waiver

• Participant Responsibility: Dance portrait sessions involve intense physical movement, posing, and exertion. The Participant (or their parent/legal guardian if the dancer is under 18) acknowledges and agrees that they are entirely responsible for their own safety and the choice of all dance moves, jumps, leaps, tricks, and poses attempted during the session.

• Assessment of Ability: Participants must only attempt moves, poses, and choreography that safely match their current level of physical fitness, training, and technical ability. f22 Studios staff are present solely to photograph the movement and will not provide physical training, spotting, safety assessments, or technical guidance.

• Absolute Waiver of Liability: f22 Studios, its directors, photographers, and staff accept no liability or responsibility for any personal injury, strain, injury recurrence, or medical condition sustained during the session resulting from the participant's chosen actions, movements, or poses. By confirming this booking, the Participant voluntarily assumes all physical risks associated with their performance inside the studio.

5. Studio Capacity & Waiting Areas

• Individual Shoots: To ensure the comfort of the performer and to allow our photographers to work without distraction, we recommend a maximum of two accompanying guests per individual shoot.

• Group / Dance School Shoots: For large group or school bookings, we recommend a maximum of one parent per child (or organizing car-sharing) to manage space. While dancers are on the backdrop, parents and guardians are required to wait right next door in our designated second studio waiting area.

6. Group Gallery Permissions

• Principal/Teacher Responsibility: For full group or dance school bookings, the booking principal or teacher is responsible for obtaining explicit consent from all parents/guardians before the shoot.

• Shared Galleries: By participating in a group shoot, you acknowledge that individual and group portraits will be hosted in a shared, private online gallery accessible by all families within that booking group.

7. Image Delivery & Ordering

• Gallery Turnaround: Your private online viewing gallery will be emailed to you (or your group coordinator) within 1–2 working days of the shoot.

• Downloads: Your booked package includes a set number of digital downloads. Additional digital images, prints, or products can be purchased directly through the online gallery shop.

8. Copyright & Usage

• Full Image Usage: All images delivered can be used freely by the client for personal use, family keepsakes, talent/audition portfolios, or any commercial and promotional purposes.



• Studio Marketing: f22 Studios reserves the right to use images from your session on our website, social media, and marketing materials to showcase our work. If you wish to opt out of this, please email us to let us know before your session begins.
